Warning

Beware inferior & potentially dangerous counterfeits of our acrylic mirror products.

It has come to our attention that unscrupulous counterfeiters are copying some of our designs using inferior materials which may be dangerous. We have informed Trading Standards offices throughout the UK. These copies are illegal and potentially dangerous so please be wary.

Why should you make sure you're buying a Mungai Mirror?

  • Safety
Our mirrors are manufactured from the highest quality 3mm acrylic mirror currently available and laser cut in the UK to provide shaped mirrors without sharp edges which are ten times stronger than equivalent glass mirrors.

  • Quality
We ensure that all of our mirrors are pre-inspected for any possible manufacturing defects. Imitation mirrors are manufactured from much thinner (usually 2mm) material which is weaker and liable to delaminate in a very short time. You will not know this until it happens.

  • Satisfaction Guarantee
We have always had a no quibble returns policy. If you are not satisfied with your purchase and return it (with original packaging and protective film intact) we will refund you.

  • Legality
All of our designs are created in-house and we always register each design on origination. We always prosecute individuals or companies that infringe our intellectual property rights.

  • Value
Imitations are cheaper but our products are fair trade, that is made in England by people paid a fair rate for the job!
Also, please remember "The bitter taste of poor quality remains long after the sweet taste of low price has faded".

How to spot counterfeit imitations

  • They will not have branded Mungai Mirror packaging.
  • They are likely to be less than 3 mm thick.
  • On closer examination they may have tiny pinpricks in the silver.
  • Their edges may be rough, and their curves less well rounded.
